Aroy-D is a Thai brand of coconut milk and Thai ingredients from Thai Agri Foods. From Aroy-D we stock coconut milk in 250 ml and 1 l packs and tom kha soup paste.
Aroy-D is made by Thai Agri Foods from Samut Prakan province near Bangkok and has been used in Thai kitchens for more than 30 years. The Thai word "aroi" means tasty and "dee" means good. According to the producer, Aroy-D is exported to more than 70 countries.
The coconut milk is made from the flesh of mature coconuts: the flesh is pressed, the milk filtered, briefly heated to a high temperature (UHT) and aseptically filled into cartons. It contains no cow's milk or starch.
What we stock
Coconut milk in a 250 ml carton is enough for one curry or soup, while the 1-litre pack is good for cooking for more people. It is the basis of Thai curries and tom kha and tom yum soups, but also of desserts, smoothies and rice pudding. Tom Kha paste (400 g) is a ready-made base for coconut soup: just stir it into coconut milk and stock and add chicken, mushrooms or prawns.
