Baijia
Baijia is a Chinese instant noodle brand from Chengdu in Sichuan province. From Baijia we stock spicy rice vermicelli, broad noodles with chilli or sesame, and instant konjac shirataki noodles.
The company was founded in 2001 by Chen Zhaohui in Chengdu; since 2016 it has traded as Sichuan Baijia Akuan Food Industrial Co. and, alongside the Baijia brand, also makes A'Kuan noodles. It became known for instant suanlafen – hot and sour noodles, a typical Sichuan street food. Today it exports its products to dozens of countries.
What we stock
We sell Hot & Sour and Hot & Spicy rice vermicelli, broad noodles with chilli and vinegar, with red chilli or with sesame, and two instant meals with konjac shirataki noodles – spicy lemon and sweet and sour. The flavours are typically Sichuan: sour, hot and aromatic.
The noodles are prepared by pouring hot water over them or boiling them briefly; add the seasoning and oil sachets to taste – if you do not like it hot, use only part of the chilli oil. The broad noodles also make a good base with stir-fried vegetables, tofu or egg.
