Cocinort is a brand of powdered stock from the Spanish producer Caldos del Norte in Burgos. From Cocinort we stock beef, chicken, prawn and vegetable stock in 1 kg catering packs.
Caldos del Norte is a family company from Burgos in Castile and León that has specialised in dried foods for more than 40 years – stocks, soups, sauces and desserts for restaurants, shops and other manufacturers. Its main brand is Calnort; Cocinort is another of the company's trade names, under which the stocks are sold mainly in Asian and ethnic food shops. According to its own figures, the company sells in more than 70 countries.
What we stock
Powdered stocks in 1 kg packs – beef, chicken, prawn and vegetable – are good value if you cook often or for a lot of people. The stock is stirred into hot water as directed on the pack and serves as the base for soups, sauces, risotto or noodle broth. The prawn stock suits paella, fish soups and Asian noodle soups.
Once opened, store the stock in a tightly closed container in a dry place so it does not absorb moisture.
