Couronne is the own brand of the Prague Asian food importer Couronne International. From Couronne we stock rice vermicelli noodles in 400 g packs.
Couronne International (Couronne Food) operates in Prague as an importer and distributor of Asian food for shops, restaurants and wholesalers. It imports goods from China, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan and Cambodia and, besides the Couronne brand – French for "crown", Chinese 皇冠 – also has its own Golden Thai and Maruyu brands.
What we stock
Rice vermicelli (400 g) are thin noodles made from rice flour. For stir-frying, soak them in warm water for 6–8 minutes, drain and stir-fry with vegetables and meat; for soup, just put them into boiling stock for a few minutes. Dropped dry into hot oil, they puff up into a crispy nest in moments.
They are good in spring rolls, herb salads, soups or Singapore curry noodles.
