Golden Turtle is the own brand of the Dutch Asian food importer Heuschen & Schrouff. Under it we stock wasabi peanuts and edamame, pickled baby corn, chopsticks, bowls and sushi sets.
The Golden Turtle brand was founded in 2010 by Heuschen & Schrouff of Landgraaf in the Netherlands, which has been importing Asian food since 1963. It started with frozen fish and later added other Asian ingredients. The turtle was chosen as a symbol of reliability – in Asian culture it stands for loyalty, wisdom and long life.
What we stock
On the food side, wasabi peanuts and wasabi edamame in a tin – spicy, crunchy snacks for beer or a party – and pickled baby corn for Asian salads and stir-fried vegetables. A large part of the range is tableware: bamboo and decorative chopsticks, gift sets of bowls with chopsticks, sushi sets for two and Japanese placemats.
