Itsuki is a Japanese noodle maker from Kumamoto Prefecture with a history going back to 1878. From Itsuki we stock a range of regional ramen for two – from Hokkaido to Kyushu – and yakisoba noodles.
The company's roots go back to 1878; noodles have been sold under the Itsuki brand since 1957, and the company has had its current name, Itsuki Foods, since 1996. The name refers to the mountain village of Itsuki in Kumamoto Prefecture and to a well-known lullaby from the area. It has made instant ramen from dried noodles since 1960 and exports its products to many countries.
What we stock
Six packs of regional ramen showcase the flavours of different parts of Japan: miso from Sapporo, yuzu-shio from Hokkaido, yuzu-shoyu from Tokyo, miso tonkotsu from Kyoto, shoyu tonkotsu from Osaka and tonkotsu from Kyushu. Each pack contains two servings of noodles with soup. We also sell yakisoba noodles for three servings.
Top the ramen to taste with a boiled egg, spring onion, a slice of meat, sweetcorn or nori seaweed. Yakisoba noodles are stir-fried in a pan with vegetables and meat and seasoned with sauce.
