Mr. Brown is a Taiwanese canned coffee from King Car, sold since 1982. We stock Mr. Brown Classic, Black, Cappuccino and Vanilla in 240 ml cans.
The producer, King Car Food Industrial, was founded in 1979 by Lee Tien-tsai. The company first sold root beer and, when that did not take off, switched to coffee: it launched Mr. Brown in 1982, and it became the leader of the Taiwanese canned coffee market. At launch a can cost 20 Taiwan dollars, more than any other drink on the market, and the price held for 33 years.
King Car also runs cafés in Taiwan under the Mr. Brown name. The company is also known for the Kavalan distillery, which it opened in 2005 as the first whisky distillery in Taiwan.
What we stock
Coffee drinks in 240 ml cans: Classic milk coffee, Black, Cappuccino and Vanilla with vanilla flavour. Serve them chilled, over ice or as a quick coffee on the go; in winter you can warm them up in a mug.
