Ricefield is a brand of rice and rice paper from the German Asian food importer Kreyenhop & Kluge. From Ricefield we stock Vietnamese rice paper, 22 cm in diameter, in 300 g packs.
Under the Ricefield brand, Kreyenhop & Kluge of Oyten near Bremen offers rice products from Vietnam and Japan – jasmine, fragrant, red and glutinous rice, rice noodles, sushi rice and several kinds of rice paper. Kreyenhop & Kluge was founded in 1933 and is one of Europe's major importers of Asian food.
What we stock
Rice paper (22 cm, 300 g) comes from Vietnam and is made from 80% rice flour with tapioca starch and salt. It is intended for fresh spring and summer rolls.
Just before use, dip a sheet in lukewarm water for a few seconds and leave it to soften on a tea towel for 1–2 minutes. Then fill it with vegetables, glass noodles, herbs, prawns or meat, roll it up and serve with peanut or sweet chilli sauce. You can also fry the rolls.
