Tropical Sun is a British brand of Caribbean, African and Asian food and drinks from the London wholesaler Wanis. From Tropical Sun we stock ginger beer and root beer in 330 ml cans.
The Tropical Sun brand was founded in 1996 by the London wholesaler Wanis, which Tulsidas Wadhwani opened on Holloway Road in north London in 1964. Wanis is now based in Leyton and is one of the UK's major suppliers of food from around the world. Under the Tropical Sun brand it sells spices, sauces, rice, pulses, coconut products, drinks and snacks; since 2009 it has won 41 Great Taste awards and is sold in more than 29 countries.
What we stock
Ginger beer is a non-alcoholic carbonated soft drink with real ginger, sugar and a hint of chilli – drink it on its own or as the base for a Moscow Mule. Root beer is an American-style non-alcoholic soft drink.
Serve both well chilled with ice; ginger beer also goes well with spicy Caribbean and Asian dishes.
