Uni-Eagle is a Thai sriracha sauce brand from Thai Agri Foods, which also makes Aroy-D coconut milk. From Uni-Eagle we stock 430 ml sriracha chilli sauce and the extra-hot 750 ml Super Hot.
The Uni-Eagle brand is owned by the Thai company Thai Agri Foods from Samut Prakan province near Bangkok, also known for Aroy-D coconut milk. Under Uni-Eagle it offers a range of sriracha sauces – classic, extra hot, garlic, lemongrass and sriracha mayonnaise – and hoisin sauce; all are made in Thailand.
Sriracha
Sriracha sauce is named after the seaside town of Si Racha in Thailand's Chonburi province, where it was created in the 1930s. It is made from chilli peppers, vinegar, garlic, sugar and salt. Thai sriracha is thinner and more sour than the well-known American version; in Thailand it is served mainly as a dip for seafood and omelettes.
