Product description
Nori are thin sheets of dried and roasted seaweed, without which Japanese sushi cannot be made. The package contains 10 whole sheets of gold grade, which are enough for several servings of homemade sushi. This is a vegan product.
Roasting the seaweed gives it a distinctive aroma and a subtly salty taste with a hint of the sea. The sheets roll well and are suitable for:
- makizushi and temaki,
- onigiri, rice triangles,
- grating or cutting into strips as a topping for rice, soups and noodles.
When working with nori, make sure the sheets stay dry, because moisture makes them lose their crispness and they do not roll well. Good sheets are dark green, smooth and fragrant. Store the package in a dry place and protect it from sunlight. The manufacturer warns that the seaweed contains iodine and recommends not consuming more than 5 g per day.
