Chung Jung One is a Korean food brand from the Seoul company Daesang, launched in 1996. From Chung Jung One we stock tteokbokki kits – rice cakes in sauce – and brown rice and apple vinegars.
Chung Jung One was launched in 1996 by the Korean food company Daesang, founded in Busan in 1956 and best known at home for its Miwon seasoning. In the US trademark, the name is translated as "pure garden". Outside Korea, Chung Jung One products are sold under the O'Food brand in 81 countries; Daesang's European branch is based in the Netherlands.
What we stock
Tteokbokki are Korean rice cakes in sauce, a popular street food. We offer two-serving kits in original, garlic and sweet chilli versions; they are ready in a few minutes in a pan. You can add a hard-boiled egg, eomuk fish cakes, spring onion or a slice of cheese.
Brown rice vinegar (900 ml) and apple vinegar (500 ml) are good in dressings, pickles and marinades, as well as in Korean cold naengmyeon noodles.
