Inaka is a brand of Japanese and Asian ingredients from the Austrian importer Panasia. Under it we stock dried wakame seaweed, nori for sushi, pickled ginger and radish, panko and fresh udon noodles.
The brand is owned by PANASIA Handels of Göttlesbrunn near Vienna in Austria, which has been importing Asian food into around thirty European countries since 2002. Under the Inaka brand it offers basic ingredients for Japanese and Korean cooking that are produced in Asia – wakame, udon and pickled radish, for example, in China.
What we stock
Everything you need for homemade sushi: Gold nori seaweed in whole sheets, pink and white pickled ginger, and yellow pickled takuan radish in strips or halves. Dried cut wakame is ready for miso soup or salad after a short soak, panko breadcrumbs give schnitzels, prawns and vegetables a crispy coating, and fresh udon noodles only need warming through in broth.
