Kewpie sesame dressing is a Japanese dressing in the typical goma style. Its base is deeply roasted and freshly ground sesame seeds, which give the sauce a distinctive nutty flavor and aroma. It is complemented by soy sauce and a slightly sweet finish.
Soy sauce tamari adds depth and umami to the dressing. The consistency is creamy, so the sauce clings well to leaves as well as meat.
How to Use It
- as a dressing for vegetable salads, for example with cucumber, cabbage or lettuce
- with spring rolls and as a dip
- with boiled or grilled meat
- with noodles and other Asian dishes
The dressing contains soy, sesame and mustard. After opening, store in the refrigerator and use within one month.
