Product description
Mori-Nu extra soft tofu is silken tofu with a very delicate, smooth texture. It is made from soy milk and on its own has a neutral taste, so it takes on the flavor of the sauce, broth or seasoning you pair it with. In Asian cuisine, from Vietnam to Japan, tofu is used commonly.
Thanks to its soft consistency, it is suitable everywhere it does not need to hold its shape:
- in soups, for example miso, add it only at the end of cooking
- in creams, dips and sauces, where you blend it until smooth
- in smoothies and desserts
- as a cold dish with a sauce and toppings, in the Japanese style
Tofu comes in long-life packaging, so it does not need refrigeration before opening. Store it in a cool, dry place. Once opened, keep it in the refrigerator. For cooking, extra-soft tofu is delicate, so heat it as gently as possible and stir carefully. For frying or as a meat substitute, firm tofu is more suitable.
