Patak's Tandoori is a curry paste with a distinctive flavour of ginger, tamarind and ground spices, such as coriander, cumin and paprika. It is designed for preparing dishes in the style of Indian tandoori cuisine and has low spiciness.
It works best as a base for a marinade: mix the paste with yoghurt or oil, coat meat, fish, paneer cheese or vegetables with it, and let it rest for a while. Then bake the dish in the oven, grill it, or fry it in a pan. The paste can also be used in sauces and curries.
