Product description
Ottogi Jin JJajang are Korean instant ramen noodles served without broth. They are based on a sauce made from fermented black bean paste, typical of the popular dish jjajangmyeon. A review of the export version describes the flavor as mildly sweet and slightly smoky, and the noodles as thick and sturdy, holding the sauce well.
The package contains noodles, a bag of dried vegetables and a bag of sauce. The noodles are made from wheat flour, so they contain gluten. The product also contains soy.
Preparation
- Put the noodles and dried vegetables into boiling water (about 550 ml).
- Cook for 5 minutes.
- Drain the water, leaving only about 3 tablespoons.
- Add the sauce and stir thoroughly.
To taste, you can top the noodles with a fried egg, spring onion, sesame or chilli.
