Raspberry and mint syrup is a concentrate from which you can make raspberry lemonade at home with a subtly refreshing mint note. The base is raspberries, which make up at least 50% of the syrup, complemented by mint. The taste is sweet, fruity and fresh.
The recommended dilution is 1:8, that is, one part syrup to eight parts water. You can adjust the ratio to taste. It is best served chilled with ice and perhaps a slice of lemon or a sprig of fresh mint.
Uses:
- homemade lemonade with soda or still water
- base for mixed non-alcoholic drinks
- flavouring for tea or crushed ice
- topping for ice cream, pancakes or sponge desserts
- baking ingredient, for example in banana bread with raspberries
